Affordable Pool Cleaning for Kissimmee Families
Kissimmee is the heart of Osceola County, a vibrant, diverse community where families work hard and deserve to come home to a pool that is ready for relaxation. From the historic Kissimmee Lakefront along Lake Tohopekaliga to the booming neighborhoods along US 192 and the Osceola Parkway corridor, this city offers a lifestyle that revolves around outdoor living, and that means your pool is a central part of your home.
A Clean Pool USA provides professional, affordable pool cleaning services throughout Kissimmee and the surrounding Osceola County communities. Now serving; new routes forming. We believe every family deserves a clean, safe pool, and we have built our pricing and service model to make professional pool care accessible without sacrificing quality.
Kissimmee Pool Care: What You Need to Know
Kissimmee's geography and climate create specific pool care requirements that set it apart from other parts of the Orlando metro area. The city sits at a lower elevation relative to many Orange County communities, which means higher water tables and more saturated soils, especially during the rainy season from June through October.
This high water table means pool shells in Kissimmee are under more hydrostatic pressure than pools in higher-elevation areas. Fill water for addresses inside the city comes from Toho Water Authority, covered below. Our technicians test the water at every visit and adjust the chemicals to the readings.
The Kissimmee area also receives substantial afternoon thunderstorm activity during summer. The flat prairie landscape south of the city allows storm cells to build rapidly and dump heavy rain in short periods. Each storm can swing your pool's pH by a full point or more and dilute chlorine to ineffective levels. Weekly professional service ensures these swings are caught and corrected before algae can take advantage. Learn more about why your pool turns green after rain and how to prevent it.

City or County: Where a Kissimmee Address Falls
A Kissimmee mailing address is often not the City of Kissimmee. The city's permit page tells owners to confirm that an address is inside the city limits, because unincorporated Kissimmee addresses are permitted by Osceola County. The county Tax Collector's key is that Tax District 200 is the City of Kissimmee and districts 300 and 400 are county; the Property Appraiser's 2021 subdivision list puts Tapestry, Heather Oaks and Shadow Bay in district 200, and Bellalago, Kissimmee Bay and Cove at Storey Lake in county districts. Lennar, D.R. Horton, KB Home and Pulte list communities under Kissimmee on their own pages, and a builder's address does not say whether a community is inside the city.
What Does Toho Water Mean for a Kissimmee Pool?
Toho Water Authority is, in the city plan's words, "the sole supplier of central water systems within the City's jurisdictional boundaries," and it also serves unincorporated areas of Osceola, Polk and Orange counties. Kissimmee Utility Authority is the city's electric utility, not its water provider. Toho's 2025 reports for its Eastern, St. Cloud and Poinciana systems print no hardness, pH or alkalinity and do not say which system serves Kissimmee addresses, as our guide to pool water by utility notes. Toho also publishes reports for its other systems, including the Western system. Toho's water quality page has an address lookup that picks your report. The calcium line on your weekly visit report shows how your own pool compares.
Which Pool Rules Apply to a Kissimmee Address?
Inside the City of Kissimmee, pool permits go through the city's EnerGov self-service portal, and the Permitting Division is at 407-518-2379. The city lists Pool/Hot Tub/Jacuzzi/Spa and Screen Room/Enclosure, both under Miscellaneous Accessory Structure, and fences and walls as a separate permit. Under the state permit rules that took effect July 1, 2026, projects under $7,500 outside a flood zone may be exempt, but only after the Building Official approves a written request. The city's page does not mention pool screen enclosures, so call the division first.
In unincorporated Osceola County, the county is the permit office. Its list of residential work that needs a permit includes "Pool, pool screen enclosure," "Screen room" and "Fence," and its HB 803 exemptions, applied since July 2026, exclude structural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and gas work and anything in a flood hazard area. The county's Swimming Pool Barrier Affidavit cites section R4501.17 of the 2023 Florida Building Code, Residential, and Florida's pool safety law, F.S. 515, applies everywhere.

Green Pool Rescue Services
Kissimmee's warm, humid climate makes green pools a common problem, especially for homes that have been unoccupied for even a short period. Whether you returned from a two-week vacation to find your pool looking like a swamp (see our green pool rescue guide), or you recently purchased a foreclosure property with a neglected pool, A Clean Pool USA can restore it.
Our green pool rescue process includes initial assessment of water conditions and equipment, high-dose shock treatment with professional-grade chlorine, algaecide application, filter cleaning or backwash, and follow-up visits until the water is crystal clear. Most green pools can be fully recovered within 48 to 72 hours depending on severity. We also identify the root cause to prevent recurrence, whether that is a faulty pump, a clogged filter, or simply the need for ongoing professional maintenance.
Honest, Transparent Pricing
We know that every dollar matters. That is why our pricing is straightforward: one monthly rate that includes all chemicals, all weekly visits, and all routine maintenance.
